The Berks County Intermediate Unit would like to recognize Mr. Tim Heffner for 20 years of service to the BCIU Board of Directors.
Mr. Heffner was first seated on February 1, 2000, as Fleetwood Area School District’s representative on the BCIU Board. Mr. Heffner served as Secretary from July 2003 to June 2004 and Vice President from July 2004 through December 2005.
In January 2006, Mr. Heffner took on the role of Board President, a position in which he faithfully served through his final meeting in December 2019.
“In his 20 years of service to the Berks County Intermediate Unit, Mr. Heffner has been a leader in every sense of the word,” said Executive Director Dr. Jill Hackman. “He has been a dedicated servant, an outstanding advocate, and a true leader. We are all fortunate to have been able to work with him over the last 20 years.”
