Student success begins with high-quality, data-driven instruction. The BCIU offers a variety of supports and services dedicated to supporting districts in providing evidence-based assessment and instruction to maximize student learning and increase students’ skills in literacy and mathematics.
Services include supporting districts in analyzing data, providing programming suggestions, training and coaching in various evidence-based literacy and math programs, professional learning opportunities, and customized on-site support. Following consultation, assessment and instructional materials may be available for short-term loan.
The BCIU also provides Training and Consultation to develop and support an MTSS model, using data to guide all decision making.
