Developed by the Career Ready Berks Alliance, the K-12 Career Pathways Framework is designed to prepare students for post-secondary opportunities, whether in college, the military, or the workforce.

Building Pathways Between School and Work

Five Career Pathways

Activities, experiences, and curriculum focus support career development related to five career paths:

  • Arts and Communication
  • Business Finance and Information Technology
  • Engineering and Industry Technology
  • Human Services
  • Science and Health

Through the program, students will be introduced to and participate in K-12 activities, experiences, courses, and elective selection focusing on the five pathways.

Career Ready Berks

CareerReadyBerks.org is an online platform bringing career information and opportunities to our 70,000 students in Berks County.

The portal provides a direct link to available experiences in the business community, including:
