has immediate openings for Teachers, Teacher Assistants/Paraeducators, and Family Engagement Workers.  

Positions are currently available in Early Intervention and Head Start programs.

Current Open Positions

Description: Assist the teacher in supervising children, planning a curriculum, and setting a safe environment which responds to the needs of the children in the classroom.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, part-day classrooms: 185 days per year (August-June); 6 hours per day.

Full-time, full-day classrooms: 196 days per year (August-June); 7.5 hrs. per day.

Salary: $13.71 – $15.29/hour

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general educational development certification (GED); or
  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education; or One (1) year experience working with preschool aged children, preferred
  • Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred
  • One (1) year experience working with preschool aged children, preferred
  • Must be willing to obtain CDA within 18 months of employment and maintain current CDA

Description: Assist in assessing the needs of program participants, make appropriate referrals and provide follow-up as needed; assist with the implementation of parent involvement activities; assist with the implementation of all component service areas, including health, nutrition, disabilities, mental health, education, enrollment, and recruiting.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., 35 hours per week, 214 days per year

Salary: $14.69/hr starting rate

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate’s degree, credential, or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred
  • Must possess current Pennsylvania drivers’ license and ability to provide own transportation

Description: Assist the teacher in supervising children, planning a curriculum, and setting a safe environment which responds to the needs of the children in the classroom.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, 4 days/week. 28 hours/week, 12-month stretch calendar *1 week/month is 5 days/35 hours

Salary: $13.40/hour; 165 days/year

Qualifications (one of the following):

  • Completion of at least 2 years of postsecondary study; or
  • Possess an Associate’s degree or higher; or
  • Meet a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a state or local assessment

Description: Implement curriculum and provide for a safe and secure classroom environment that meets the needs of all participating preschool children in program.

Terms of Employment: Full-time, part-day classrooms: 185 days per year (August-June); 6 hours per day.

Full-time, full-day classrooms: 196 days per year (August-June); 7.5 hrs. per day.

Salary: $20.10 – $24.69/hour

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Early Childhood or Child Development required
  • Bachelor degree in Child Development, Early Childhood or equivalent coursework with Early Childhood Education certification, preferred
