Nearly 600 educators attended Common Inservice Day for Berks County’s related arts educators on Monday, October 14. The event, coordinated annually on Columbus Day by the BCIU Office of Professional Development and Curriculum (OPDC), featured presentations and workshops at eight locations throughout Berks County.
Attendees to the Health and Physical Education session heard a presentation from Teresa Tieman Detweiler, Prevention Specialist from the Council on Chemical Abuse, titled “Juuling: What Schools Need to Know.” The presentation was covered on PBS39 News Tonight.
