More than 400 educational leaders from Berks County's school districts, career and technology centers, and the Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) gathered on August 6, 2026, for the annual Berks County Schools and BCIU Administrators' Conference. Serving as a kick-off to the 2026-2027 school year, the event provided an opportunity to welcome new administrators, strengthen professional connections, share important updates, and explore learning opportunities that support students, staff, and school communities.
Held at the Muhlenberg High School, the conference provided updates on countywide initiatives, school safety resources, professional learning opportunities, and collaborative programs designed to support educational leaders throughout the year. Attendees also recognized Berks County's superintendents and career and technology center directors for their continued leadership and service to schools across the County.
Keynote speaker Manley Feinberg delivered a message on leadership, resilience, and growth. Through engaging stories and practical lessons, he encouraged attendees to embrace change, stay focused on their purpose, build strong relationships, and support others in reaching their full potential. His message emphasized the importance of trust, teamwork, and perseverance in achieving success.
The BCIU extends its appreciation to the Muhlenberg School District for hosting this year's conference and to all presenters and participants who helped make the event a meaningful start to the new school year. We are also thankful for the generous support of our sponsors, LinkIt!, Generation180, and Devopar Consulting, whose partnership helped make the event possible.
