Congratulations to Julie Van Lear on her selection as President of the Berks County Pupil Transportation Association (BCPTA)! This honor reflects her dedication to student safety, professional excellence, and the vital role transportation professionals play in supporting education across our region. 

Julie serves as the Program Administrator of Transportation at the BCIU, where she provides leadership and oversight to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality transportation services for our students. Her expertise and dedication are evident in both her daily work and her broader contributions to the field of pupil transportation. 

The BCPTA is a county-wide organization committed to promoting school bus safety, expanding educational outreach, and fostering ongoing professional development. In partnership with the BCIU, the association supports driver training initiatives, recognizes outstanding transportation staff, and hosts regional safety competitions that reinforce best practices and a strong culture of safety.

Together, we will continue to strengthen partnerships, advance safety, and provide excellent service for the students and families we serve,” said Julie.
