The BCIU is pleased to highlight Steven Adames, BCIU PAL Program student from the Reading School District, whose confidence and enthusiasm continue to shine across BCIU programs. Most recently Steven stepped into the role as co-host of the BCIU Transportation Driver and Staff Appreciation video, joining Dr. Hackman to celebrate the dedicated employees who keep our students moving safely each day.
Steven’s natural presence, professionalism, and upbeat energy made him a standout partner on the screen. His ability to connect with viewers and to bring genuine appreciation to the moment reflect the skills he has developed through the PAL program, his work experiences, and his growing interest for a future in media and communication.
Beyond his co-host role, Steven is a valued presence at the BCIU Education Centre where he supports Head Start classrooms and playground activities. Whether leading games, helping children during transitions, or encouraging positive interactions, Steven brings patience, happiness, and a strong sense of responsibility to his work with younger students.
Steven’s growing communication skills, positivity, and dedication make him an outstanding ambassador of the PAL program and a bright example within the BCIU community.
