Leaders from the BCIU joined colleagues from across the Commonwealth for the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units (PAIU) Day on the Hill in Harrisburg on March 24, 2026, advocating on behalf of the more than 70,000 students we serve in Berks County.
We are grateful for the time and continued partnership of our state legislators, including Senator Chris Gebhard, Senator Scott Martin, Senator Katie Muth, Senator Tracy Pennycuick, Senator Judy Schwank, Representative Jamie Barton, Representative Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz, Representative Eric Weaknecht, Representative David Maloney, Sr., Representative Mark Gillen, Representative Manuel Guzman, Jr., Representative Jacklyn Rusnock, and Representative David Zimmerman, who met with us or received advocacy materials during the visit.
