The Berks County Intermediate Unit proudly recognizes Amy Slovick, Lead Speech Therapist in BCIU Early Intervention, as the BCIU 2026 Annie Sullivan Award nominee.
With more than 16 years of dedicated service, Amy supports children ages 3–5, helping young learners and their families build essential communication skills during a critical stage of development. As Lead Speech Therapist, she mentors colleagues, strengthens service delivery, and leads the Early Intervention Assistive Technology Team, expanding access to innovative communication tools and high-quality professional learning opportunities.
