The Berks County Intermediate Unit is pleased to announce that Mary Franciscus, Director of the Office of Human Resources, has been appointed President of the Eastern Pennsylvania Association of School Personnel Administrators (EPAPSA) Board, effective July 1, 2026.
Ms. Franciscus was first appointed to the EPAPSA Board in February 2025 and has since been an active contributor to the organization’s mission of supporting school HR professionals through professional development, collaboration, and advocacy. EPAPSA serves as the regional affiliate of the Pennsylvania Association of School Personnel Administrators (PASPA), connecting
HR leaders across the Commonwealth.
As President, Ms. Franciscus will lead regional initiatives, coordinate efforts that support statewide priorities, and represent the needs and perspectives of eastern Pennsylvania school personnel administrators. Her role will also include fostering professional networks, supporting leadership development, and promoting the sharing of best practices among school districts and intermediate units.
