The Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) is pleased to share that communications work by BCIU Creative Services staff supporting both the BCIU and the Twin Valley School District has been recognized at the state level through the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association (PenSPRA) 2025 Excellence in Education Communications Contest.
PenSPRA’s annual contest highlights outstanding communications initiatives from school districts and education organizations across Pennsylvania. The competition recognizes projects that effectively inform, engage, and connect school communities through strategic communication efforts.
Two projects earned Awards of Excellence, the contest’s highest honor in their categories:
•Berks County Intermediate Unit – BCIU Annual Digital Analytics Report (Special Purpose Publication) – Kimberly Ressler
• Twin Valley School District – Twin Valley School District Annual Report (Annual Report) – Kimberly Ressler
In addition, the Berks County Intermediate Unit received an Award of Merit in the News Release category for BCIU Dedicates New Learning Center at Helping Harvest Annex to Expand Early Childhood Education in Berks County (News Release Category), written by Amelia Krotee.
