The program also provides an excellent foundation to pursue further education leading to careers as a Physical Thera- pist Assistant, Occupational Therapist Assistant, Occupational / Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Fitness Trainer, Sports Coach, and Wellness Coordinator ... just to name a few rewarding careers!

For example, the job market for Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides is projected to grow 40% from 2014 – 2024 accord- ing to the U.S. Department of Labor. The median annual wage for Physical
Therapist Assistants and Aides was $42,980 in 2015. The increased demand for physical therapy services is attributed to the expected increase in healthcare needs of our aging population and individuals living with chronic health conditions. Physical Therapist Assistants/
