Restorative Practices Training Workshops, Coaching, and Consultation are available through a trainer licensed through the International Institute of Restorative Practices (IIRP). Restorative practices training provides an overview of restorative practices and its relationship to discipline, school climate, and its roots in restorative justice.
Participants learn how to effectively establish school-wide or classroom-based restorative practices by building buy-in of staff, students, and families; developing policies and procedures; training staff and leadership; increasing communication; using circles as part of a daily routine; using affective statements; positive behavior management; and utilizing best practices and lessons from the field.
Specified training is offered for whole district/school teams, teacher groups, administration/leadership, youth as leaders, school counselors, and community organizations.
