The Pre-K Counts Program provides high quality pre-kindergarten opportunities to three- and four- year-olds at no cost to families. The BCIU Pre-K Counts program operates 15 classrooms (10 sites) throughout Berks County.
Children from age three until entry age for kindergarten are eligible to apply. PA Pre-K Counts is targeted to children at risk of school failure, either because of income, language (English is not their first language), or special needs issues.
The program operates five hours per day, five days a week during the school year.
