Instructional Coaching Services provides professional development around instructional coaching and mentoring. PIIC’s model of effective coaching works to build teacher capacity as a means of increasing student engagement, and improving student achievement.
The core elements of PIIC include one-on-one and small group support for teachers, coaches and school leaders; collecting and analyzing data to identify student needs; assessing changes in classroom instructional practice; and measuring student progress.
PIIC emphasizes the use of evidence-based literacy practices and research- based instructional techniques supporting reflective and non-evaluative practices. The Instructional Coach Mentor also provides professional development opportunities through the Berks County Coaching Collaborative Network.
