The Board Certified Behavior Analyst’s (BCBA) role is to observe and assess students with behavioral concerns, study changes the environment has on behavior, and/or implement behavior plans.
Behavior analysts focus on behaviors that can be readily observed and measured conducting observations and evaluations that measure specific influences, including the environment, on behavior. Behavior analysts also monitor the progress of the individuals under their care and collaborate with family members or other care providers to determine how to best address long-term individual goals.
