Foundation for Reading Area Community College names 3 new board members

The Foundation for Reading Area Community College has welcomed three new board members.
Dr. Jill M. Hackman, Rebecca A. Shemanski and Maryanne Post each began three-year terms on the board in September.
Hackman is executive director of the Berks County Intermediate Unit, a position she has held since 2014. She has an extensive background in education, having served as an assistant superintendent, director of student services and teacher.
Shemanski is on the board of the John Paul II Center for Special Learning and previously served as director of communications for Custom Processing Services, Exeter Township.
Post is controller for Post Precision Castings, Strausstown. She also serves on the board for St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and is a strong advocate for Catholic schools.
The Foundation for Reading Area Community College was created to raise, invest and manage private funds for the benefit of RACC.
