The Committee on Legislative Action (COLA) met on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 to hear a legislative update from Mrs. Hannah S. Barrick, J.D., Assistant Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO).
Mrs. Barrick provided an overview regarding Governor Wolf’s proposed state budget and how the proposed budget would impact our districts. Her presentation touched on education funding along with other education-related policies highlighted in the proposal.
Additionally, the Committee received the latest copy of the PA State Mandates document and the latest thinkpiece from the Public Cyber Charter School Association.
