BerksCyber.org Campaign Promotes District Cyber School Options

The Berks County Intermediate Unit is partnering with Berks County’s 18 school districts to promote in-district virtual learning opportunities. A multi-channel campaign will drive traffic to a newly created website, BerksCyber.org, where parents and caregivers can learn about the advantages of choosing and finding their local school district’s virtual learning option and contact information.

Dan Richards, BCIU Director of Professional Development and Curriculum, says there are many benefits to choosing the virtual option within one’s home district. “We have seen an increase in demand for online / virtual options for students in grades K through 12. The advantage of staying in the district is that students will receive an engaging and challenging curriculum while continuing to receive the same supports and opportunities provided to students in their district.”

The campaign includes billboard placements in all Berks County school districts with a complementary social media campaign that will target parents of school age children who reside within school district boundaries.

The billboards and social media advertisements are scheduled to run for a total of eight weeks.
