Captioned Media Program (CMP)

Berks County Intermediate Unit began serving as a depository for the National Association of the  Deaf (NAD) in January 2001. The depository of captioned media videos serves the entire state of  Pennsylvania. The CMP library's features include:

free-loan captioned media (no decoder required)

grades from preschool through grade 13+

subjects include literature, art & music, science, sign language, health, history, business,  social studies, music, etc.

lesson guides accompany 2,700 educational titles

1,300 general interest titles

eligible borrowers include deaf and hearing impaired individuals, professionals who assist  them, and parents

registration may be done on line at www.cfv.org
