The Berks County Intermediate Unit initiated a comprehensive assessment and planning process in 2004–2005. Input from focus groups and surveys revealed valuable insights into the agency’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities. The findings of the assessment process were synthesized into a select set of themes and goals that will help guide the organization for the next three to five years.
