BCIU's network group consults, designs, and implements networks to meet the needs of
school districts and nonprofit organizations. We offer a staff of trained, certified, and
experienced professional network and PC analysts who are capable of installing and
supporting desktop PCs, servers, switches, routers, and more. Our network consulting and
support service includes the following:

software support, and unpacking and setup of new desktop computers |

General administration including trouble shooting, and diagnostics of existing
peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, CD-ROM drives, etc., unpacking and setup of
new peripheral devices |

General network administration, including
setup and configuration of new network connectivity devices, network troubleshooting, diagnostics, and support and
design consultation
on existing cabling, hubs, switches, routers, etc. |

Internet/E-mail
BCIU is an Internet Service Provider (ISP),
offering a high-speed connection to the Internet to school districts and
government agencies. Internet services include:

your location |

Monitor Internet access and performance |

Provide BESS, education-specific filtering

ICS (Internet Caching System) services |

Install and support numerous e-mail systems
including Novell GroupWise and Microsoft Outlook. E-mail services can be accessed
through browsers such as Microsoft Internet
Explorer and Netscape Navigator. |
