Youth Day

Berks County Intermediate Unit coordinates this job-shadowing opportunity for high school students. Youth Day was started in 1922 and has become a popular Berks County tradition. Many of today's business leaders participated as student shadows when they were in high school and continue the tradition of helping youth learn more about a career by serving as mentors for Youth Day. Approximately 300 students and over 100 businesses participate each year.
