CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION
Currently, BCIU’s classroom instruction is offered at Boyertown Area Senior High School.
- Classroom instruction includes 30 hours of training.
- Curriculum complies with current Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) regulations. All instructors are PDE-certified.
- Students may receive .25 academic credits for successfully completing classroom instruction.
- Students who successfully complete the 30-hour course will receive a Certificate of Driver Training, with which they may apply for a reduction in insurance premium. Students should contact their insurance company for more information. Reduction of insurance premium is granted at the discretion of the insurance company.
- Students who register for classroom instruction must report to the high school on the designated date and time. No other notice will be given unless the class is cancelled. Minimum class size for classroom instruction is 20 pupils.
