A variety of continuing education courses are offered by the BCIU Continuing
Professional Education Council and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
These courses offer credit toward a Level II Instructional or Educational
Specialist Certificate, a Master’s Equivalency Certificate (18 inservice
credits may be used), Act 48, self-improvement, or professional development.
Courses are considered graduate-level study and are designed to meet the same
level of rigor as those offered at universities. Courses are offered during
the fall, winter, spring, and summer.
