Back to Basics
The 20th Annual Building Bridges Developmental Disabilities Conference
follows the tradition of offering a forum that brings together
representatives of service provider, advocacy, education, government and
parent organizations in a single setting to learn, to network and to
discuss topics of mutual concern and interest. This conference remains
the only one-day event that explores systems, services and programs
relating to the support of persons with developmental disabilities. The 2007 conference is titled; “Back to Basics” in an effort of regroup and take nothing for granted. With staffing turnover and regulation change having become a way of life both new and seasoned individuals need to become acquainted and reacquainted with the very foundations of the services and concepts that are guiding the supports for persons with a disability. This year’s conference addresses that Back to Basics need.
