ReSPONSE TO Instruction and INTERVENTION (RTI) CONSULTATION

The BCIU provides consultative and professional development support to districts in their work to develop and implement a Response to Intervention (RtI) system that enables them to better meet the academic and behavioral needs of their students. RtI is a three-tier system in Pennsylvania and has been established to ensure the success of all students.

The RtI process enables school personnel to assess how well students respond to the instruction they receive and provides a system to present increasing levels of support to students who are struggling with curricular expectations.
