PUBLIC RELATIONS

The Public Relations Department oversees the corporate communications and public relations operations of the BCIU. It publicizes and promotes the agency's many programs and services while facilitating effective communication among BCIU departments and the schools and communities they serve.

The Public Relations staff also provides professional communications and marketing communication services to external clients, including schools and nonprofit organizations.

Additional functions of the Public Relations Department include coordinating the BCIU’s relations with the mass media and producing official publications, such as NewsLink, BCIU's monthly newsletter for board members and school administrators, which spotlights services and programs of interest to schools; Unison, the agency’s employee newsletter; and the State of the Unit Report, the BCIU’s annual report to the community.

We can help you on big-picture projects, such as branding campaigns and website overhauls, as well as your smaller communications needs, such as newsletters, brochures, ads, and presentations. We can work with you on a contractual basis, project by project, or hourly as needed.
