TECHNOLOGY MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

The BCIU's technical repair shop has technicians, certified by Comptia A+, Dell, and Apple, who can help with all of your computer maintenance, repair, and upgrade needs. We provide free estimates and quick-response repair services on computers and peripherals, and we support most major manufacturers. Our facility is an authorized Apple, Dell, and Hewlett-Packard warranty service center.

Our technology maintenance and repair services are available to all Berks County schools. We help service and maintain:

Computer-related peripheral devices, including printers
AV equipment
Projection units
CD, DVD, and video cassette recorders
Desktop Computers
General desktop computer administration, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, software support, and unpacking and setup of new desktop computers.
Peripheral Devices
General administration, including troubleshooting and diagnostics of existing peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, CD-ROM drives, etc., as well as unpacking and setup of new peripheral devices.

The BCIU also stocks an assortment of replacement parts and supplies for most of the equipment serviced, including videocassette tapes, audiocassettes, and lamps and bulbs for slide, overhead, and film projectors.
