2012 PA Middle School Computer Fair

The BCIU was one of 11 intermediate units statewide to host an annual competition for students in grades 6-8 during the 2010-2011 school year.

REGIONAL COMPETITION

The 2011/2012 competition for Berks County schools will be held on April 24, 2012, at the BCIU Education Centre, 2101 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 6, 2012.

Students may compete in the following categories:

Computer Fair logo
Digital movie
Graphic design
Programming
Web page design

Professionals from local businesses, universities, and organizations lend their expertise as judges.

Awards are presented to students who place at the regional competitions. All first place winners advance to the state competition.

STATE COMPETITION

The Pennsylvania State Computer Fair for middle school students will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Dickenson College, Carlisle, PA.

The PA Middle School Computer Fair is sponsored by PAIUNET and other corporate sponsors; it is coordinated by the Chester County Intermediate Unit.
