2012 PA High School Computer Fair
The BCIU was one of 23 intermediate units statewide to host an annual competition for students in grades 9-12 during the 2010-2011 school year.
REGIONAL COMPETITION
The 2011/2012 competition for Berks County schools will be held on April 24, 2012, from 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m at the BCIU Education Centre, 2101 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.
The deadline for regional submissions is Friday, April 6, 2012.
Students will compete in the following categories:
- Animation
- Computer fair logo
- Digital movie
- Graphic design
- Programming
- Web page design
Professionals from local businesses, universities, and media outlets will lend their expertise as judges.
Awards are presented to students who place at the regional competitions. All first place winners advance to the state competition at Dickenson College.

STATE COMPETITION
The Pennsylvania State Computer Fair for high school students will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2011, at Dickenson College, Carlisle, PA.
The 2012 BCIU regional PA High School Computer Fair Logo was designed by 2011 winner Sarah Kane from Berks Career and Technology Center.
The PA High School Computer Fair is sponsored by PAIUNET and other corporate sponsors; it is coordinated by the Chester County Intermediate Unit.
