FEDERAL PROGRAMS
Safe & Drug-Free Schools
All aspects of the programs and issues that encompass the creation of safe schools are coordinated through the Safe and Drug-Free Consortium. Programs include, but are not limited to, the Student Assistance Program (SAP) Add-On, training in the Resiliency and Bullying Prevention programs, Elementary Student Assistance Program (ESAP), Active Parenting, and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) development.
Title I and Title I, Part D
Title I and Title I, Part D monies provide supplementary education services to help children and youth in state-run institutions, such as youth detention centers and prisons, continue their education. The funds provide basic prevention and intervention programs for children and youth who are neglected, delinquent at-risk.
