Online theory instruction and behind-the-wheel training may be taken as separate training components.

Online Theory Instruction

Driver education theory instruction is available online through an arrangement with the Edward Savioz Driver Training School. Students may register for the course at http://www.KeysToDriving.com.

Behind-the-Wheel Training

Registration for behind-the-wheel training is accepted for all Berks County students throughout the year. However, due to a high volume of students, there is a waiting period of approximately 8 - 12 weeks.

You must register online through My Learning Plan.

Select "Click to Enroll" and then "I'm a new user." By submitting your information, you are establishing an account with a username and password in a secure location for future reference.
The account must be set up in the student's name (not the parent's name) because that is the name that will appear on the certificate of completion presented to the student at the end of the training.

Follow the on-screen prompts to enroll.

You must enter your credit card information to register for the course. However, your credit card will not be charged until the student has completed the first lesson with the driver training instructor.
