2009 BUSINESS PARTNERS

Berks County businesses to school personnel: “Welcome. Come on in!”

Local businesses opened their doors to the education community by hosting insideBERKSbusiness interns during summer 2009. Many business sectors were represented, including art and culture, entertainment, financial services, health care, law and consulting services, manufacturing, retail, small business, and utilities.

Sixteen employers gave 29 teachers and school counselors an inside look at their companies. Educators learned about challenges the businesses are facing and gained appreciation for the career opportunities that those companies present to the Berks County workforce.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the businesses listed below for their participation in and support of the 2009 iBb program.
