Human Resources Department

The BCIU’s Department of Human Resources is a full-service operation providing the intermediate unit’s almost 1,200 full-time, part-time, and substitute personnel with a variety of services pertinent to their employment.

In addition, the Human Resources staff provides workshops on employment law and best practices and facilitates programs that assist in the proper credentialing of school personnel. read more

Public Relations Department

The Public Relations Department oversees the corporate communications and public relations operations of the BCIU. It publicizes the agency's many programs and services while facilitating effective communication among BCIU departments and the schools and communities they serve.

The Public Relations staff also provides professional communications and marketing services to external clients, including schools and nonprofit organizations. read more
