2018 ANNIE SULLIVAN AWARD PRESENTED TO DALE BOND, KUTZTOWN AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT

2018 Annie Sullivan AwardDale Bond, Head Custodian at Kutztown Elementary School, was named the 2018 Annie Sullivan Award recipient on April 4, 2018, at the BCIU Main Office Building. The Annie Sullivan Award is sponsored by the Berks County Intermediate Unit and the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units.

Mr. Bond was nominated by the Life Skills students and teachers at Kutztown Elementary for the kind attention and time he gives to the special needs children whenever needed.

In addition to award recipient Dale Bond, colleagues, friends, and family gathered to recognize eight nominees’ outstanding service, dedication, and significant contributions for the education of students with disabilities in Berks County. They are:

  • Susan Johnson, Nurse, Elementary School, Oley Valley
  • Heather Daniels, Behavior Support Teacher, Middle School, Twin Valley
  • Caryn Moreland, Emotional Support Teacher, Elementary School, Wilson
  • Linda Wynne, Special Education Paraprofessional, Elementary, Wyomissing Area
